University Admissions:
Notification: The university typically publishes admission notifications on its official website and in leading newspapers. These notifications contain important information such as application deadlines, admission requirements, and procedures.
Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university for the respective program they wish to apply for. This may include minimum academic qualifications (such as GPA in SSC and HSC examinations or equivalent), specific subjects studied, and other requirements.
Application Submission: Interested candidates need to fill out the university's admission application form, which is usually available online on the university's website during the specified application period. They may need to pay an application fee and submit necessary documents along with the application form.
Admission Test: Many universities in Bangladesh, including Comilla University, require applicants to sit for an admission test. The admission test typically assesses candidates' knowledge in relevant subjects, analytical skills, and aptitude. The university announces the date, time, and syllabus for the admission test in advance.
Merit List: After the admission test, the university prepares a merit list based on the performance of candidates in the admission test and other criteria such as academic qualifications. The merit list is usually published on the university's website and notice boards.
Counseling and Admission: Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are called for counseling sessions. During counseling, candidates are provided with information about the available seats, program details, and admission procedures. They are required to complete the admission formalities within the specified timeframe, including payment of admission fees.
Orientation: After the admission process is completed, the university typically organizes an orientation program for newly admitted students. The orientation program provides students with important information about academic policies, campus facilities, and student services.
