About University
Times University Bangladesh (TUB), one and only private university in Faridpur, was founded in 2013 under the Private University Act 2010 with a vision to create a global higher education center of excellence.
TUB is specially committed to provide quality education at an affordable cost. Quality is ensured through regular classes, quizzes, individual presentations, strict examinations and other academic and administrative measures. TUB introduces unique quality education tools like Professional Life Skills Development (PLSD), Times University Initiatives for Future Transformers (TIFT), Student Mentorship Program (SMP) and Inner Voice Forum (IVF) for developing capacity of the students.
This cell was set up last year to ensure the quality in academic as well as administrative affairs of the University. The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) requires this kind of cell in every private and public university.
For ensuring quality education at university level, Times University Center of Excellence for Teaching and Learning create opportunities for training talents to contribute in classroom teaching, pedagogical research, text books development and materials design for private universities in Bangladesh, especially at TUB.
Efficient administration of TUB is capable of solving problems quickly and effectively. The Vice Chancellor, the Dean, the Advisor, the Registrar, the Exam Controller and the Departmental Heads take care of administrative and academic affairs.
